Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Paid $1,000 for dead-on-arrival brick

AndrewJH 11/20/2024

The cooktop was dead on arrival. Frigidaire confirmed that this is a factory defect: jumpers were reversed on the control board, which caused a short. Now I'm trapped in an endless cycle of technician visits that fail to fix the problem. Neither Frigidaire nor the distributor will just do the easy, right thing and replace it with a new model. So I'm stuck with something that was made broken. 50 days and counting without a repair or replacement. Basically I paid $1,000 for a brick. Trapped in an

Company deleted review! (Maybe good cooktop - horrible company)

Aonaran 5/31/2024

Ordered via Perks At Work's "Electrolux Family Store". Seemed like a great deal, but frustrations at every point since have negated most perceived value. I chose a date for delivery/install & knowing my cutout didn't meet specs, entered that note on the order. I reached out to ask if the installer could handle that - "no", which is understandable. Called a local company to cut my counter & was advised to have the cooktop prior to cutting. Contacted Electrolux to move up delivery. Chat rep said they couldn't, which was false. The phone rep rescheduled, but must have missed the backordered electrical kit - new date came & went without any word. They also told me the deliverers are the installers, so I felt I had no option but to DIY install. If I need the cooktop to prepare for install & can't separate install/delivery, what choice did I have. On this day, I also saw the install instructions said a "granite countertop kit" was needed ($155 +tax for some sealant and brackets with broken English instructions!), so I ordered that part number separately. To solve the backorder, a new helpful rep canceled the electrical kit on the order - leaving me to figure out that - but at least the cooktop arrived, 2 weeks after order date & 1 week after first revised due date. Unhelpfully, the deliverers indicated that they don't modify cabinets, which would be a pretty terrible time for Electrolux to give first notice of this if I hadn't already asked. With my cooktop on site, I bought what I thought I needed for electrical supplies & had the countertop enlarged. I looked at the brackets from the wildly overpriced granite kit and saw that none of them were anywhere close to fitting - minimum 1/2" gap between bracket and appliance on my now-in-spec cutout. This means that step 1 of the kit instructions was a failure. 2 days after delivery, I called again, starting a series of the most unhelpful chat/phone conversations you could expect to have. Apparently I could return the granite kit for a refund, but only if I paid shipping. For a part that Electrolux explicitly calls out and a representative says is "universal". Because I specified the part number during the order (instead of giving model/serial for them to provide it), I was at fault. Even though the PDF and hard-copy manuals denote that exact part & a chat rep, when pressed, admitted that the part I ordered is the one for my model/serial. The absolute lack of logic and empowerment given to these reps is astounding. Electrolux would rather make me an enemy over a legalistic stance for a <$20 shipping charge than just do what's right. While having these conversations, I also noticed that I'd been charged the full amount for install/delivery, even though in multiple phone conversations and in person, I said I was refusing it. So now, while waiting for an overdue callback from someone who wants to help but wouldn't just pass me to a supervisor who might actually be able to, I'm currently out $168.32 for probably $30 worth of materials in an install kit (which I can recover by spending ~$20 in shipping that I shouldn't be responsible for), ~$10 for having to DIY my own electrical kit, and $69 for installation services not provided. Maybe I'll get my installation cost back in 7-10 days. Maybe reason will prevail and I'll get my $168.32 back, though I doubt they'll pay shipping. And in testing after a temporary install, the buzzing is pretty loud - my first induction, so I don't know if unexpectedly so, but worth knowing for anyone considering this unit. I'd consider a warranty call, but who knows what horrors await for me down that road. Why on earth would I ever put myself through this again? Almost any other company has to be better. Learn from me - don't let anyone at this company try to help you. If the standard process doesn't solve it, cut your losses and go elsewhere. Otherwise, by my estimation, you're looking at $90-250 in costs above and beyond what you thought you were paying for a cooktop. And to top it all off, Frigidaire removed my first posting of this review! This company has no shame (because they'll remove any reference to it, apparently).

Better than radiant or gas

marhargen 4/27/2024

Got a great deal at a home improvement store that has a big blue logo. Very pleased with the features, functions, performance, usability, and safety. Induction is the way to go. Quick, clean, quiet, and it looks great. Cleans-up easily. This was a replacement for an eighteen year old JennAir natural gas cooktop. It dropped-in to the existing countertop cutout perfectly. Our home was pre-wired for an electric unit and the installation by a professional installer went very well. Be sure to shop for INDUCTION READY cookware prior to delivery and installation.

A watched pot now boils! ??

greeneyes423 4/3/2024

This cooktop boils water faster than it has any right to. Awesome for a household that makes buckets of mac n cheese! Cooking is even and easy with all other foods. I do wish there were better dials to set temperature up or down, instead of the drag scale alone, because it™€™s hard to change the temp mid-cooking. The sensors are accurate, the cooktop has good safety features, and so far we™€™re happy with our purchase. The only other negative is that it did arrive with a chip on the actual surface (not an edge/corner), but it hasn™€™t affected function. Easy to clean, but even the appropriate cleaners leave streaks. All in all, I like this new cooktop a lot, and at least I won™€™t have to worry about another gas leak!

Excellent upgrade from our Radiant cooktop

abhart 2/12/2024

Installation was straightforward, took about an hour. We've been using often for over a month now. Works so much better than our old radiant unit. Boils a large spaghetti pot in less than 5 minutes and much easier to clean since spills don't get baked on. The controls took a few minutes to get used to but they work very well and quickly became intuitive. We had a few pans that were not compatible with inductive, but that was expected. Most importantly my wife uses this cooktop every day and loves it. Would definitely buy again.

Russfarm 1/22/2024

i just installed our new induction cooktop to replace our 35 year old GE electric element cooktop. I had to cut the tile a little to install the new unit, but the installation was easy. the sleek black top is striking in our white counter tile. my wife says she likes the easy clean aspect of the new unit. I like how fast the elements heat up and will find out if it also saves a little money on the outrages electric rates here in California. the controls are intuitive and very easy to figure out with reliable heat going to the pot instead of the surrounding area.good product that I recommend to anyone replacing their old cooktop.

I will NEVER go back

kcofnj 12/23/2023

I took the plunge and upgraded and will NEVER go back. I have had electric, gas and now induction and find induction to be the fastest AND by far the easiest to clean!!!! Spray, wipe and walk away! I swear butter melts in under 10 secs. oil for fried chicken? minutes. The elements heat evenly too so more consistent results when cooking. Yeah, I had to buy a new pot/pan set but got them off Amazon VERY reasonably priced. Also, it fit the pre-cut hole in my granite countertop without issue! I was worried because I didn't give them specific measurements, but it went right in. I've been telling all my friends and family to make the switch!

Induction cooking beats other electrics and even gas cooktops

SMColorado 8/18/2023

Induction cooking beats other electrics and even gas cooktops by a very wide margin. It can manage very low heat levels without buring (e.g. chcolate and butter) and will boil water much faster that any other heat source with instantaneous changes in between. It's safer than gas and has auto shuoff feature when a pot boils dry or is removed. This particular model is unique in that it has two extra large burners in a compact 30" space and the two smaller units can be yoked into one long unit. The controls are obvious and easyb to use. There is nothing easier to clean.

A Great Choice!

mtg2023 7/4/2023

Although this induction cooktop has only been installed a few weeks and has not been put through a full-blown ™€œThanksgiving Cook-a-Thon™€ yet, I have used it enough to know that I made a great choice. When remodeling our kitchen I knew I wanted an induction unit and scoured sources for a mid-price unit with features like power boil, timer, warming mode, etc. This particular unit fills all of my criteria and more. It boils so quickly you dare not step away for more than a minute or two. Cooks evenly and with much less heat than my older glass cooktop. Cleans up easily as well. A little bit of soap and water on a Swedish dish cloth and a good drying with a microfiber towel is all it has taken so far. We are extremely pleased with this product.

So Much Better Than Gas

Ray in Midwest 6/27/2023

Purchasing this cooktop is one of the best decisions we've made. It is so much cooler to cook with an induction cooktop versus gas. And the pots and pan handles stay much cooler. Often, no hot pads are needed to pick up a pot or pan. Using the Power Boil setting will bring water to boil in seconds and a rapid boil in under four minutes for a quart-and-a-half pot of water. Clean up is also a snap. We also purchased silicon protection mats to prevent scratches.

Locked Out and Useless

LockedOut 6/15/2023

This is the worst experience I have had with a product and the ensuing "warranty" and "customer support" process in my life. The "Lock" button on my stove never worked correctly which meant the stove was impossible to turn on reliably. I submitted a service ticket 6 weeks ago (after owning the device for 8 weeks) and have now had 4 technician visits to ™€œfix™€ the device. The technicians have told me the device is unrepairable but they are unable to put that in their notes. Frigidaire refuses to replace the stovetop and instead keeps sending new technicians out with the same part to swap the part. I've now had 3 control panels but 0 working cooktops. It's unacceptable that this process has been this painful and I've been left with a completely useless device for so long. Frigidaire should not be trusted to provide products or service on those products by any consumer or retailer. This will be escalated to the BBB. The only good news is that the broken cooktop provides a nice flat surface for the very cheap induction burner we had to purchase in order to cook food.

??Love my induction cooktop

Hot pink toes 6/14/2023

Replaced electric glass top, wanted to try induction so after extensive research chose this one. The price was very good, delivery and installation went well and was also affordable. I did the magnet test on my existing cookware and many do work. Unbelievable how fast I can boil water now. I studied about using a adapter disc and read so many bad things decided not worth the risk. I do like the silicone hob covers to prevent scrathes , they are good for using on low heat but I would be afraid to try a high heat especially with a large diameter pan, common sense tells me it could possibly damage the stovetop. I love that with induction the chances of a fire are greatly reduced. I couldn't be happier, would highly recommend. I have 2 Fridgedaire Gallerie refrigerators, one is 23 years old and still great. Next purchase will be the self clean convection wall oven like the one that sold with the house.

Induction is the way to go. You get instant response when you change temperature like going from boil to simmer. Cooking rice on induction is so much more precise heat control. Safety features such as auto lock on the controls is pretty slick and easy to use. My pans don't get grimy on the outside anymore and stay looking nice. Can't imagine ever wanting to go back to a conventional old style electric stove top. Take the leap, you won't look back.
